Quantum Algorithm Developer

Job Description

We are seeking a talented and motivated Quantum Algorithm Developer to join our team and contribute to the advancement of quantum computing solutions. The ideal candidate will design, develop, and optimize algorithms to solve complex problems using quantum computing frameworks. This role requires a deep understanding of quantum mechanics, computational theory, and proficiency in quantum programming tools. You will collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to bridge the gap between theoretical research and practical implementation in fields such as optimization, machine learning, and cryptography.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement quantum algorithms to address real-world challenges in optimization, cryptography, and data analysis.
• Optimize existing algorithms to improve performance on quantum hardware or simulators.
• Collaborate with quantum physicists, computer scientists, and engineers to integrate algorithms into practical quantum computing workflows.
• Simulate and analyze quantum algorithms using tools such as Qiskit, Cirq, or Braket.
• Test algorithms on quantum hardware platforms, ensuring compatibility and performance.
• Research and stay updated on advancements in quantum computing and algorithm development.
• Document and present findings through technical reports, publications, and presentations.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Master’s or Ph.D. in Quantum Computing, Computer Science, Physics, Mathematics, or a related field (exceptional Bachelor’s candidates with experience may be considered).
• Strong understanding of quantum mechanics, quantum information theory, and computational complexity.
• Proficiency in quantum programming languages and frameworks (e.g., Qiskit, Cirq, PyQuil).
• Solid experience with classical programming languages (Python, C++, or similar).
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a focus on algorithm design.
• Excellent collaboration and communication skills.
• Experience with quantum hardware platforms is a plus.
