Job Description

We are seeking a knowledgeable and engaging Quantum Computing Instructor to teach and mentor students in the field of quantum computing. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of quantum mechanics, quantum algorithms, and programming in quantum computing frameworks. As an instructor, you will be responsible for creating lesson plans, delivering lectures, and providing hands-on experience with quantum computing tools like Qiskit, Cirq, or other related platforms. Your role will also involve guiding students through complex concepts, assignments, and projects, helping them develop the skills needed to pursue careers in quantum technologies.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and deliver lectures on quantum mechanics, quantum algorithms, and quantum programming.
• Develop educational materials, including presentations, assignments, and exams, to assess student progress.
• Provide hands-on training with quantum computing software platforms (e.g., Qiskit, Cirq, etc.).
• Mentor students through quantum computing projects, offering guidance and feedback.
• Stay current with advancements in quantum computing research and technology to ensure up-to-date course content.
• Evaluate and grade student performance on assignments, projects, and exams.
• Foster a collaborative and inclusive classroom environment that encourages critical thinking and problem-solving.
• Assist in curriculum development and continuously improve teaching methods to engage students effectively.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Master’s or Ph.D. in Quantum Computing, Physics, Computer Science, or a related field.
• In-depth knowledge of quantum mechanics, quantum algorithms, and quantum programming languages (e.g., Qiskit, Cirq, etc.).
• Strong teaching experience, with a passion for educating and mentoring students.
• Ability to explain complex quantum concepts in a clear and approachable manner.
• Proficiency in quantum programming languages and hands-on experience with quantum computing hardware or simulators.
• Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
• Experience with online or hybrid teaching platforms is a plus.
